NCIS: Sydney

Not everything makes the reel. For three years we've been embedded with NCIS Sydney, shooting multicam table reads and behind-the-scenes footage for EndemolShine Australia to send upstream to their US counterparts — and it's not ours to put online.

The table reads alone are a logistical challenge. With a two-camera setup and an audio tech, we're miking up to 16 speaking roles per session, occasionally pulling in a remote actor feed, and delivering the cut in under eight hours so it lands with the US team overnight. They use it to stay across the cast and the overall read — and the editors get a solid base to start cutting the show.

It's genuinely fun work, but there's no margin for error. Everything runs to schedule, every time.
